British Voice Artist

Hello, I’m Max

I’m a London based Actor and Voiceover artist working from my studio in North London. After graduating from Rose Bruford, I’ve been lucky enough to work on a wide variety of projects - from voicing small goblin minions with Merely Players, to narrating Audible’s grand nautical adventure with Fathoms Uncharted.

I have a soft RP accent and specialise in animation and narration. As a keen impressionist and mimic - working recently as a member of Newsrevue - I am here to help you find the perfect voice for your project, whatever it may be.

My home studio is equipped with full audio post-production capabilities, including: iZotope RX-10, Reaper, and a Neumann TLM-102. As a professional sound engineer to boot, I am also trained in ProTools, and am adaptable to work with whatever your studio requires.

Thanks for stopping by, have a look around, and feel free to get in touch if you have a project you want to talk about. I can’t wait to hear from you!

  • 'I cannot speak highly enough of Max - he's one of the nicest people I know and a terrific colleague and I have no hesitation in recommending him. Max's good humour, focus, ability to stay calm under pressure, treat everyone respectfully and with charm, alongside a comprehensive understanding of our industry as both actor and sound engineer, meant that I was delighted when he accepted my offer to work alongside me for five weeks.'

Hilary Jones - Royal Conservatoir of Scotland

  • 'Working with Max is an absolute joy. He has the insight and instinct to know when something not only isn’t working, but how best to shift gears. The growth of the project is always the priority when working together. Utilising his skills as an artist to know how to engineer a piece, and his experience as a technician to know, in the moment, how a project will be best brought to life.'

Austin Hayes - Merely Players Podcast
